Carlos and Selena decided to get married at Aranda de Duero, the hometown of Selena. Aranda is a town, capital of Ribera del Duero comarca, in the south of the Province of Burgos. This region is well known by their amazing wines. The religious ceremony took place at the beautiful church of Santa María la Real, it was my very first time in this town and I must confess I got pretty amazed by this gorgeous church. After the ceremony the cocktail and party took place at the Finca Hotel Torremilanos. It is surrounded by vineyards and with the beautiful light of the day it was a dream come true.
I met Carlos and Selena through Carlos’s sister, in Bilbao. I photographed his nephew years ago for a newborn session and a couple of times more in the following years. His sister recommend me and this is how we end up meeting. I love them both from the very beginning, it’s always a pleasure to find couples who really know what they want and they made me feel part of their family during all the time.
Selena’s gown had a slightly fairy tale style, in contrast with Carlos’s suit from Scalpers and his skulls tie. I can’t help myself, I love that tie. Together they looked amazing and so handsome. I had a great time with them, their friends and family, they do know how to party! There was a moment before the first dance that I asked Carlos and Selena to come with me to make a couple of shots before the first dance at the vineyards, after a few pictures some friends from Carlos did the same making jokes and I was lucky enough to immortalize the moment, it was hilarious!
I can only be grateful for being part of such a special day.
